How is Vertgigs different from Backstage or Mandy?+
Vertgigs is built for vertical micro-content format from the ground up: 9:16 reel uploads, role taxonomy specific to vertical drama (vertical drama editor, short-form series director, 9:16 colorist), and bilingual EN/ES throughout. Backstage and Mandy serve horizontal TV and film. Vertgigs serves the production wave behind ReelShort, DramaBox, TikTok Series, and Reels.
How much does it cost to post a gig?+
Single gig posts are $15. Casting calls are $35. Studio subscribers at $49/month get unlimited gig posts and casting calls included. Featured event listings are $75 per event.
Is Vertgigs available in Spanish?+
Yes. The full platform is bilingual EN/ES. Spanish pages are at vertgigs.com/es. Gig and profile search can filter by language. Spanish-native support at [email protected].
Can I post a casting call for a ReelShort series?+
Yes. Casting calls are a first-class post type on Vertgigs. Select Casting Call when posting, enter character breakdowns, and set your audition format (vertical self-tape 60-90 seconds is default). Cost is $35 per casting call or included in the Studio plan.
Are there free options for talent looking for work?+
Yes. The free Seeker tier lets you create a full profile, upload a 9:16 reel, and apply to up to 3 gigs per month. Pro at $12/month removes the application limit, adds a verified badge, and surfaces your profile higher in search results.
How does verification work?+
Pro account holders can request verification. The Vertgigs team reviews your reel, 2-3 production credits, and a government ID match. Verified accounts get a green badge on their profile and in search results. Verification is not a background check.
What roles are listed on Vertgigs?+
Vertgigs covers the full vertical production crew: editors, directors, actors, directors of photography, motion designers, animators, writers, casting coordinators, and location scouts. More role categories are added based on community demand.
How do I host an event on Vertgigs?+
Pro or Studio account holders can create event listings. Standard listings are included in your plan. Featured slots are $75. All event hosts must acknowledge the indemnification agreement: Vertgigs is a listing platform only, not a co-organizer.
